CampusFrance is a French non-profit national Agency serving the public interest and acting under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Co-development. CampusFrance currently has 227 member institutions including most French universities and Grandes Ecoles. The Agency also has a network of 113 overseas offices and 14 annexes in 88 countries.

Dedicated to international mobility in higher education and research, CampusFrance’s overarching mission is to reinforce the attractiveness of French higher education abroad. It carries out promotion activities, assists institutions in developing new partnerships and supports international students from before they leave home until the end of their study stay. CampusFrance is also specialised in analysing current trends in international HE and regularly publishes studies, evaluations and comparisons on issues such as rankings, mobility and international student services.

With regard to the IMPI project, CampusFrance has taken main responsibilities in the area of dissemination and the organisation of workshops. It also contributes to developing indicators and testing these indicators in benchmarking exercises.
